Kerry; You are absolutely correct. If one does not care about nominating their favorite chip or token ... they don't deserve to serve as a judge IMHO. It takes no great effort to put a stamp on an envelope and mail in ONE nomination to the OTY Chairman in order to qualify as a judge.
As for the numbers of folks on-line vs. non on-line... all one has to do is look at the highest number of views on the most popular posts on this bulletin board and it will give you an idea how many chippers are interested in this forum ... and quite a few of them are not club members. Probably close to 25% of the 170 New Issues subscribers for my A.C. NIS do not have email addresses.... and of those who do have email addresses I've never seen a post made on thechipboard from most of them.
