Tiny is in the mind of the beholder. Just ask my... oh, never mind.

My point is that it NOT ludicrous to envision an individual not voting because there is no on-line option. You see a lot of grumbling even here on TCB about sellers that don't accept PayPal, where you actually have to write out a check and drop it in the mail. And in that scenario you're getting a chip in return. Think about that.

As far as the concept that the "majority" of club members are not on line, I hear this bandied about quite a bit, but I'd like to see the actual numbers. I find it hard to believe that in this day and age this could be possible in ANY club. And that said, I think you're idea that participation would not increase given an electronic voting option is not realistic. If there were a centralized voting area on the Club website, not only would LOTS more people be involved with existing club processes, but I believe that quite a bit more could be accomplished in the area of opinion polls and the like.

It's probably time for the Club to make the leap into the 20th century. Maybe sometime in the future, we could even leap into the 21st.
