A few days ago I used Travelaxe to find good rates. San Remo wasn't even close to cheap. His best bet would probably be one of the downtown hotels, or one of the hotels in Jean.

The Las Vegas Advisor website has a link to the Travelaxe software which can be downloaded to research and make reservations.
