Used machines from Japan for $250 (higher or lower) are common. They use tokens, not coins, so they are not slot machines.

They can be altered to take quarters.

I see them all over at flea markets, and sales, even coin shows. If you don't care that they aren't a real slot, it would make a nice decoration for a rec. room Fully functional and you can have fun playing them.

Real slots are illegal in many more states than most would understand. Some have laws that allow for "antique machines".

At any rate you should be able to find an import machine, with tokens, refurbished for around $250.
Real slots and VP machines cost more and are likely illegal.
