2. The brothers John & Henry Churchill, in 1875. Opening day, and the first Kentucky Derby, was May 17, 1875. The idea and much of the planning were originated by Lutie Clark. (more bonus points?? vbg )

3. Sir Barton, in 1919. He won the Kentucky Derby by 5 lengths, the Preakness by 4 lengths, and the Belmont by 5 lengths, in 2:17 2/5 (MORE bonus points?? vbg vbg )

no prize, huh? rats! sad

And whooooo cashed a $342 win ticket on the derby last weekend? hmmmmmm.... grin (I didn't pick the winner or buy the ticket, but I got to cash it and keep the winnings! rofl )
