When you use the direct fit airtites (which I do) you will need to have two sizes on hand. The 39.0mm will work for most chips. Some older chips though that might not quite fit or would be snug you will need the 40.6mm. The 40.6mm size airtite is what you will also need for the B&G chips such as the Palms.
