Just playing Devil's Advocate, because I have mixed feelings on the subject. If you don't think that Nevada (or any other large city) has the same problems as Atlantic City, take a drive behind The Stratosphere Casino in Las Vegas. Make sure you lock your doors and don't go unaccompanied.

I opposed casinos in California, probably for some of the same reasons you oppose them in your state. Do I go to California casinos? Yes. Some of them are very nice. Do I wish they had Nevada style regulation? Very much so. Would that we could mandate it.
