be leased. No purchase. Lease agreement includes a contract to service (clean) the machines daily (perhaps every other day). Cards are prone to getting oily from player use and then picking up particulate matter from the tables (dust, etc.). This all transfers to the wheels/rollers in the shuffler, which then gums them up. Which is why they need constant cleaning.
I agree that they speed up the overall game (not each hand) but to me the best thing is an end to frequent set-ups! The Orleans restricts set-ups to once every two hours on those tables.
I have heard that the lease runs about $1,500 per week, but that is not from a competent source.
