I get an email from a lady that says she has just come across a pair of Black Hard Rock Dice. Not many sets made she tells me...I've dealt with you before she says to me, and I would like to offer these to you first. " I am told they are worth about $75 to $100" she tells me. " But I am not looking to rape anyone here, so for $50 they are yours if you want them " she continues.

My response was a quick yes they look pretty neat, so I will take them. Can I send you two $25 Who chips from the Hard Rock as payment? I asked her.

I figure $50 in HR Who chips is better than just sending her a check, plus I needed to unload some of my traders.

Her response was that she had just learned that the chips are more valuable than she thought. so the price is now $190 for the set.

No harm, no foul..no deal. But she offerd, I accepted, she declined.

Just feels kind of lousy. I thought I had a great looking set of dice to show off.
