Jane, to give you a direct answer, it all depends on the casino as to how you get the cards.
First and foremost, go to the desk and get your personal card. While your doing that, ask if you can get more than one. Some will oblige--others will not. Then cruise the floor area on top of the machines and on the ledges of the machines. That's how we all get them. If your lucky, you will find some obsolete cards.
Some, and I say some, Indian casinos are very tempermental and you may only get one card and find none on the machines. These cards, even if current, are worth more in trade or cash as they are difficult to obtain. Some out-of-the-way Indian casino cards are more valuable as well, only because of the locale and the difficulty of getting to the casino.
Usually there is at least one of our members that live fairly close to these outline casinos but they might not necessarily collect cards.
