No Bust Blackjack: Heres the rules:
Just as the name implies, there is no instant bust for the player. So if the player has 23, the cards stay. Of course he wouldnt take any more cards. If the dealer has 24 or more, the play is a push. If the dealer has 23 or less the player looses. So in essence, if the dealer has a higher bust then the player, its a push. If the dealer has the same or lower, its a loss.
Next difference is the Blackjack. A BlackJack only pays 1:1 (equal money) The black jack isn't paid until the end. Thats because a blackjack is a push if the dealer also ends up with a blackjack. Crazy huh? ut we arent done, there's more.
Now add the jokers! Yes, they use the jokers. If a joker comes up, its an automatic 21. If 2 jokers come up for the same player's hand then it pays time and a half (1.5:1)
A bit different. At first I thought it was odd. But after playing a while, i decided my first impression was correct. It's very odd.
There is also a floating option of being the banker. A player may opt to be the bank. He can put in money and then his cards are the dealers cards and is playing against the table. The only money he can win or loose is what he has put up. So if he puts up 25.00, thats all he can win. Even if one of the players that just lost to him bet 30.00. The real banker backs all bets that the temp banker is doing. So consider him the banker's banker. Also the temp banker can only lose as much as he has put up. You can put up as much as you'd like. Each time, you can see how much the players have put up and put up the same, but that might not be enough if the split and double. I put up double what the table was showing for all players.
I did very well as the banker, but I saw a few people get their clocks cleaned. The player can have two turns at being the banker, then the banking option moves to the next person.
I had a great time there at the 500 Club, and came back with some great stories and some great chips.
