They started handing out the slot cards for the soon to open Thunder Valley Casino near Roseville, Ca. There was a nice piece in the paper yesterday describing the facilities and showing the progress. The outside is complete but they are still working on the inside finish. They are planning a June "soft" opening and expect to be fully operational by fall. There will be a buffet and three upscale restaurants. Sounds like it will be a pretty upscale operation. Based on the length of the line at the Mall today to get the slot card (and a free t-shirt and a shot at $1,000) they can look forward to lots of business.
