Paul, when I sell on Ebays, I offer the following options, Paypal, Money Order, or cash. The reason I do not offer checks is because my bank insists on placing a hold on all U.S. checks for 30 days in order to make sure they are good. I have never refused a check from a CCGTCC member yet, because I consider them to be a cut above the average buyer, but if I was to take a check from JOe Somebody, send out the items, then 30 days later find out it was no good, I would be not only out the $$ but also a tad P**sed. The alternative of making the buyer wait 30 days for his check to clear does not seem a feasible option. Like I said though, I am always willing to accept a check from a CCGTCC member! Just my two cents on the issue
