The descriptions in TCR that say 'coin silver' don't really mean the inlaid coin is made of silver metal (AG)... it's just a way of distinguishing from other color inlays (usually brass). I believe most of the Bud Jones inlaid coins are made of stainless steel.

I don't know of any chips with precious metal inlays, although some of the die-cut metal inlays may be gold plated.
