I agree. I didn't think PayPal charged when you're making a payment and I didn't think you had to be a member to make one. When I've written a check, there were some instances that I didn't receive my purchase for close to 3 weeks. I've also mailed cash and had the same wait. $2.25 is ridiculous, especially for one chip. As Jane stated, the bubble envelope (assuming you don't recycle them whenever possible like I do) shouldn't cost more than 50 cents. Anything over $1.50 for a chip is way too high. Another of my pet peeves would be sellers who won't combine shipping when you've bought more than one item. Well, that's my two and half cents...
