I don't know for sure but 27 would be a guess. Unless you had a lousy catcher and/or a pitcher who threw nasty knuckleballs and split finger pitches in the dirt and the catcher dropped a lot of third strikes, which would put the number higher than 27. Then if he was in the national league and batted say 4 times and struck out in those at bats then it could be 31 but the real answer might be indefinate!!
