I have no basis for a "legal" claim that the religious right is responsible for these tax increases but the two governors are playing into the hands of the anti gambling groups of the RR is a powerful member. As for "liberals" controlling the state, they don't control Illinois even if they vote Democratic in Chicago. But I was not talking about liberals or conservatives as in politics--but referring only to the right wing element of society that is out to destroy gambling as well as any other activity that they deplore. But enough politics--have a joyous Easter.
