For simplicity sake, let's assume the text file you want to link to is named skee.txt

1) Upload your text file to your aol space
2) When you post a message there will be a place to enter an "Optional Link URL". In that box you would type: http://members.aol.com:/skeepat/skee.txt
3) In the "Optional Link Title" box you would type the description of the link, such as "My trade list"
4) Then post the message.
