Rich; Funny you should mention the gold electro-plating on the ebay offered watch. Shortly after my post in that thread, I received an email from a source who used to buy and sell scrap gold and silver many years ago ... and he suspected that the 10k on the bracelet clasp appears to be also stamped "gp" which would suggest gold plated ... not "solid gold". Just a suspicion.
