A while back, I had two experiences that changed my attitude about feedback. I went somewhere on eBay that allowed questions to be posted. I think it might have been Community, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I said something to the effect that if someone leaves feedback (buyer or seller), the other should return the courtesy. Well, I got a number of responses, some of them bordering on snide and one that was ESPECIALLY nasty. I later received a threatening message from him and had to contact eBay. It annoyed me to such a point, that I took the time to find out just who he was found he dealt in dead animal skins and Native American artifacts. So, as my late mother would say "Consider the source." I did and would NEVER buy anything from him. At the very least, there are some pretty strange birds that post messages there. There were also two jokers that post on eBay that I bought things from that were just as nasty about posting feedback. So now? My rules are my own and I do as I damn well please. I leave feedback when I'm happy with the deal (which has been the case so far). Sorry this is so long, but I too felt the need to vent (and it does feel good).
