Pete, I kept MY part of the bargan.
1. I didn't want a Negative feedback
2. He broke no rules (that I could find)
3. It was $12.50, not worth getting too fired up over (I'm on borrowed time now!)
I spoke to one of his 'victims' and he (the bidder) shoulderd all the responsibility while another like me felt it was intentional on his part (but I admit some responsibility for not reading- remember 23 seconds left in the auction), it was like finding a bear in a trap and blaming the bear for stepping in it. Not the trapper because he is playing on the nature of the bear. This guy is setting traps for people and catching them. Who's fault is it? I would venture to guess 100% of his bidders bid on something 'percieved' and this was his intent from the begining. Proving intent is a whole new ball game, you should know that. What he is doing, I don't think is right but I am hard pressed to cry foul and point to a rule he has broken. I am the one who has failed (to read the ad fully), like the bear stepping in the trap (he didn't see it either).
