I think it's an overall crackdown.
At both the Rio and the Riviera chips with female models on them have been denied.
The Pioneer in Laughlin had an incredibly hard time submitting revision after revision to get their River Run chips approved.
The Four Queens Tax Day chip this year has been denied because it features a Government form. Never mind that the last three years the Four Queens has released similar chips (with Government forms on them).
The Riviera is still trying to get their Steve Schirppa (Bobby on "The Sopranos") chip approved. First they had a problem with "HBO" being on the chip. Now it's that the show he stars in "promotes" organized crime.
Besides a rash of denials, others will point to the whole 500-minimum rule that has been imposed as another LE crackdown. I personally still feel that this was a good thing for our hobby but many will argue with me on it.
