By looking again through the chipguide and Silver State Treasures sites i realized an important omission. Each site clearly states when the casino was opened and when closed. Sometimes, if the year isnt known when the casino closed they will just put a "yes". Thats great and important information.
However, what I have now realized is that to a chipper who is going for chips, it doesnt tell us if the casino is now a slots only casino with no chips available. Or possibly the Hotel is still open, but the gaming has stopped.
This may sound stupid or nit-picky at first glance, but I have run into situations a few times where I have gone out of my way to visit a casino only to find they hadn't had chips available in a few years. How disheartening is that!
I for one would be more then happy to assist both Greg and Paul to any extend that I can to try to address this issue. I feel it would certainly be an asset to both the experienced chippers and new chippers.
It can be very difficult sometimes to keep track of the changes in the chip/casino world and I think this would making chipping much easier. It would be one more valuable facet to the online guides.
