You consider negative reporting to be lies? Sorry to mention you by name but Saddam's government has repeatedly been reporting massive victories, which we all know to be untrue but they are not negative reports and therefore we can only conclude that the old iraqi government was indeed a pinacle of truisms.

I have only reached this as a result of your previous comments which stated Fox was presenting the only factual account as the other stations were not so forthcoming with the positive comments regarding the liberation of Baghdad.

I too support the war but after these comments I can help but feel that people are supporting it for the wrong reasons. Fox is a propaganda machine, we get it on satellite, and while it is correct to say all media id biased, Fox has reported under a blanket of ignorance. Not once have they mentioned, unlike the BBC and at time Sky NEws, that the majority of those in the streets are Shiite Muslims, the most supressed group in Iraq.

The scenes of liberation in Baghdad were fantastic today but I am worried some people's perspective of the war. I have tried to read from a variety of news sources to provided a more rounded picture and with all Saddam restrictions gones we are going to see more and more live events.

P.s. Who else feels that the Head of the Ministry of Information should go freelance? I find him increadibly entertaining, perhaps he should be given his own TV show. Who else could give a live press conference in which they state Baghdad is free from the coalition while US tanks drive by? Brilliant!
