Back when I played a LOT of poker in the '80's I would take a yearly calendar at the first of the year & mark down all the major holidays. Then I would get a list of all the major conventions that would be in town for the year & mark those down. I would make sure & play on those weekends.

The one problem you have is that all the great low limit action poker rooms are now gone. The Holiday, Castaways & Desert Inn were GREAT rooms during holiday weekends & when conventions were in town. It was common to see 5, 6 sometimes 7 way action with every round capped back then on those holiday & convention weekends. Andy - Las Vegas
