the horseheads (you'll have to check with Dale Seymour on this) may be from a set I purchased in 1979 that were shipped to a Balston Spa (Saratoga) casino owner in 1856. I brokered the set to Dale as I was in the throes of a divorce and the complainant who I believe to have been my now former wife and her lawyer set forth my meager poker chip collection as an asset so I did not dare try to keep the set of 700. However, there was another similar set found a year or so later (I have four of each) and I no longer remember which set the ones shown belong to--if my old set, then they were positively identified as being from an illegal casino as noted.
