I dont get it. If the cost is plainly posted in the auction. Whats the problem?… My prices are CLEARLY marked and I am an honest ebayer.
I think you’re misunderstanding the issue… no one is accusing you of being dishonest or of any other moral turpitude. The problem is your shipping charge itself. If I were to win 4 chips from you for $4 and then be charged $8.40 for shipping, only to receive the chips stuffed into a single mailer with 55 cents postage, I’d be more than a little p!ssed. Anyone else would, too… including you.
If you won a Playboy Atlantic City $25 chip for $10 would you complain about a shipping cost of $2.10 that was plainly posted in the auction?
Again, not the issue. While $2.10 is on the steep side for the shipping of a single chip, it is within the bounds of reason. It is multiple chip wins that is the problem.
You say im gouging people. Did you even bother to see the $2.10 includes insurance? I will can ASSURE you if your chip got lost in the mail You would be right there with your hand out looking for a refund.
Again… paying for insurance, while it should be an option, is fine. But for, say, a shipment of 10 chips with a value of scarcely over $10 total, is there any more than $1.60 of insurance involved? Do you think that $21 is a reasonable shipping charge for 10 chips?
Still I'm glad you posted your reply. It seems like if someone posts anything on this BB he is open to nasty replys.
No one’s being nasty… but if you advertise auctions with irregularities such as your objectionable shipping charges, you can bet you’ll hear about it.
I for one will NOT tip toe around to please a few people.
Good choice… I’ll agree with that one.
