I think you just proved my point. You keep telling me that I need to read the facts not opinions and you cite this story.

1) The only time Al-Queda is linked to this compound is in speculation. No evidence is cited.

2) The group running the compound is not associated with the Iraqi government. The compound is outside of the area controlled by Saddam Hussein, it is in fact in the area generally controlled by the Kurds (our allies?). The article itself admits that there is no evidence linking the group to Saddam Hussein and in fact suggests that the group is linked to Iran an enemy of Iraq (keep in mind that Iran is run by a religious extremeist government while Saddam Hussein is not a religious leader).

So what you have presented here as fact to establish an Al-Queda-Iraq link does not actually establish a link to either one.
