The First Amendment says, "Congress shall make no law ...." It doesn't say that individuals in their private capacity cannot take actions which somehow limit another individual's speech. And, in fact, that takes place all the time.
I fully support the right of private individuals to make rules regarding what speech will be exercised in their own private realm (best example: editorial policies for newspapers, radio and television). This is entirely consistent with my Libertarian philosophy.
As for violence being funny, the depiction of it can be (was the whole point of the Three Stooges). Besides, you're still not getting the irony of the post, are you?
Finally, with respect to lawyer jokes, you'll have to do a lot better than that to find one that (1) I haven't already heard and (2) that will upset me! ----- jim o\-S
