That supposes that it is not possible to end the war, but in any event my point remains valid. the fact that a decision has been made does not justify the decision, nor does it require that we all agree with it.

I object to the suggestion that our troops are fighting for us in the current conflict. They certainly are not fighting for me, I certainly have no reason to fight Iraqis. I'm not sure exactly who they are fighting for and quite honestly I don't think our government knows either.
I support the troops, I support them by insisting that they should return. It is a ridiculous argument that the only way to support the troops is to support the war, yet that is the argument I hear over and over again from the "Support the Troops" protestors. The fact that I do not support the invasion of Iraq does not mean I wish harm to come to our soldiers. I don't want to lose the war, I want to stop the war their is a difference.
