Bring all of your traders, even if you think everyone already has what you have.
If you haven't got a specialty in mind, or a specific chip or two that you are looking for, pace yourself! Spend the first day just walking the bourse floor and seeing what is there. Take time away from the show to go on chip runs to other properties. The first ( and second, and third...) convention can be sensory overload.
Introduce yourself to all of the people that you can. It's always nice to put names and faces together.
