Yes, I would say it is a variety, but one that each collector must decide for themselves if they want to collect. I have chosen not to, but I know that a couple people do.

When I brought this up a few years back I got a lot of flack from people where against this being a variety. I kind of felt the same way at the time and have ignored the difference since then.
