When these chips first started to show up, the earliest note that I have to Sam Heppler is 2/14/01 for what was called the "Nevada Ghost Town" series, the ads were much more misleading then they are now. There are pictures on the chips of closed bars and casinos that had gambling. The chips also had denominations on them. Sam's response at that time was to effectively mind my own business. I will agree that today's ads are not as misleading as the ads were back in 2001. However, my only request to Sam Heppler was to be up front and honest in his auctions. Tell prospective buyers exactly what these chips are. Some of these chip look very nice, if I had made them, I would be proud of it, I would not try to hide it. I will not have anything to do with Sam Heppler, I suggest that others do the same. I do not think that he is an asset to the chip collecting hobby, I think that he is someone who is just after our dollars. I do not think that he is someone that I would want to do any business with.
