I heard a rumor that the Bird Farm Casino in Fallon may be closing.

I asked around to a number of people to see if they have heard anything. What I heard was this:

A few people heard rumor that one of the owners (there's two I guess) was thinking about selling his share). Nobody heard about it closing.

I would find it hard tho believe that this place would close. Its really just a bar that does a half craps table (25 cents). The way they do craps is really in the house favor...6 and 8 pay even money!!!! the rest pay the usual; 5 & 9= 7 for 5. and 4 & 10 pay 9 for 5. The have a $5.00 max bet! So we're really talking about just a friendly low stakes game here. They have one BJ table with low stakes as well. The real money is made with booze and sandwiches and the three pool tables. Oh, lets not forget the self serve car wash thats attached.

The place has a stead stream of flyboys from the airbase thats not too far. There are of course some locals too.
