I collect roulettes, even with the knowledge that they were "stolen property." My hypocritical justification for this is that my intent in not to harm the casino in any way by reintroducing these chips into a higher limit game but to keep them as a collectible.
Now, I know that even though I don't personally harvest roulettes, I do know that even accepting them as traders is wrong. Still, I do it.
With that said, I agree with Rick Minor. It is wrong--we all know it is wrong--and if we get caught, it's our fault. Give the roulettes back to the rightful owners. If you don't want to return to that casino, there are 4 others in your local area.
The Casino must take some security measures as well. The best and most effective way I can think of to stop the harvesting by collectors is to use generic chips as do many other casinos.
