I was checking fares for the convention and found flights out of Cleveland to Las Vegas running about $300. I could fly out of Columbus (2 hour drive) for about $215. The Columbus flight goes from Columbus and makes a stop in Cleveland before heading for Las Vegas. You gotta wonder.
