I realize the delima as well (church/state thing). Yesterday on TV it seemed to be the fuse on more issues. I wish I knew the answer (as well as many of us brainwashed Americans do) to apease both sides. If just two words will force religion on a 7 year old, maybe we should put other things in the Pledge as well... something about math, science, eat your vegitables.... hell my daughter can barely get all the words right!
