Now that's an unusual act of class from a mega-resort.
I moved to Las Vegas from NYC 6 weeks before 9/11, and purposefully drove past the Trade Center to view it from my convertible one last time. My wife and I had gotten engaged on the top floor.
When all hell broke lose, and I took a break from crying, the journalist in me went to the NY NY to watch the President's speech. I interviewed people afterwards. I cried a lot more.
And when the t-shirts piled up, I wondered how long it would be allowed, and how it would be dealt with when they decided it had gone on long enough. I noticed something was up a while ago, but without a press conference, never dreamed it would be handled in so classy a manner.
So from this former New Yorker, thanks NY NY.
