If you look carefully you will see that the big dips occur during the Christmas season each year. A lot of people are just too busy to list items and many have spent all of their money already. I am surprised that there isn't a bigger drop in January. You can't give stuff away in January. It's kinda like trying to sell a casino chip the week after convention. Forgedaboutit.
