White conservatives didn't hole up and take arms against the government at Ruby Ridge. The Government took arms against an isolated family. Randy Weaver was not a militia member, in fact it was his refusal to infiltrate a militia group for the government that ultimately lead to the murder of his wife by federal agents. What happened at Ruby Ridge was outright and unchecked government aggression.
