because he didn't use WMD on the battlefield during the Gulf War doesn't mean he hasn't harbored and supported terroist networks such as Al Queda. The American government has shown links to such activity and is his way of promoting the radical Islamic belief that the West should perish because of our "ways". Israel has never taken a hostile approach to the West or our interests. In fact, Israel has been a close ally and one I believe we can trust. You certainly can not compare the political/religious tone of Israel with countries such as Iraq and Afhganistan. It is completely different. Israel does not subscribe to the thinking of the West, and yet they are not out to kill us and our way of life.
I recognize your right to your belief just as I recgnize Al's right to voice his opinion. My only REAL point in speaking up is that I feel this generation has become a generation of individuals who have no ability to make tough choices involving moral, ethical or disciplinary action. When my child hurts another, or acts is such a way as to infringe on the basic rights of others, it is my duty to discipline the child I love. It is painful and never an easy task but it needs to be done.
By our inaction I pray we will not be fostering an environment where 'the child' will be encouraged to do the same thing again, or worse, move to the next level.
Thank you for your patience with my view on this. I realize it may not be the "politically correct" stand, but I love my Country and believe that our form of government is still the best in the world. We are ALL allowed to pursue life, liberty and freedom...A thing many oppressed people will never experience; And I feel we have a duty to help rid the world of terrorism once and for all.
