You really are!

There were a few folks who emailed me after our meeting last year, asking me what I thought of you. I told them that you were one of the few people whose base ideology was generally quite left of mine but didn't do all of their thinking with their heart. There has to be a mixture of emotion and intellect in every serious discussion. Cogent thought processes are what really separate us from animals.

...trying to get used to my new laptop (bought it yesterday). It's my fourth laptop, doesn't have the "eraser head" stick in the middle of the keyboard to use as a mouse, has a "touch pad". ....I don't like it (the touch pad), I keep clicking on things without meaning to. Gotta buy a regular mouse for this machine.
