Note: this is not the same tribe as the previous message. That was Green Bay, this is the newest casino in downtown Milwaukee...
The Forest County Potawatomi tribe plans to build a $120 million addition to its Menomonee Valley casino - doubling its original cost - and add 950 employees and may put up a hotel, a tribal official said Tuesday.
The expansion would be fueled by the new state-tribal gaming compact, which eliminates the casino's limit of 1,000 slot machines and permits craps tables, roulette and off-track betting on horse or dog racing.
The pact also allows round-the-clock blackjack, which now is limited to 18 hours daily, and continues to allow the casino to be open all day, every day.
