...I'm not sure there's a good way to have the examples show correctly in both IE and Netscape, so here they are with spaces...
If you type in C C & G T C C, it appears on screen with IE as C C > C C while it appears correctly with Netscape (evidently).
The & G T is a label in SOME language that indicates the insertion of a ">" symbol (greater than). My theory is that it is a Microsoft label, rather than an html label.
Of course, it's probably an incorrrect theory, just like all the rest have been.
