I love this quote from her:

"It will be a great day when our schools get all the money they need and the military has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber."

I have two responses to that.

First if she is so worried about the money that the schools don't have then have her pay her own way through college and give back the scholarship that she's probably got.

And second, I was apart of the military down sizing following the Gulf War. Seeing servicemen and women having to use food stamps to feed their kids. Living in housing that is a step above certain projects in bigger cities. Almost all living at or below the poverty level. Just because there is an increase in the military budget, does not mean that 100% of that money has been allocated to weapons. Some of that increase is to take care of their people. And had been planned well before the recent WAR issue.
