All she did was turn away from the flag. Its not that she is showing disrespect for the flag, she is refusing to be forced to display "respect" for the flag.

Its not like she brought the flag onto the court and burned it. Someone else brought the flag out and "demanded that she salute". Her actions are in fact relatively mild.
