There are 250 or so million Americans in the United States. It is not possible for our government to please everybody on every issue. This young woman basketball player was way out of line in her disrespect for our flag, our national anthem and our country. She also disgraced herself, her team and her school. Playing basketball is not a political event and should not involve one's PERSONAL political point of view. She should not be allowed to play again unless she finds a way to behave properly during the national anthem. There is so much that this country has done for that woman, that to me it is unthinkable that she should turn her back to the flag over one issue that does not even remotely effect her. If you want to walk in protect march or write a letter to a congressman, go ahead. Do something constructive to make the world a better place. But If she really wants to turn her back on her country, if it is too painful for her to face the flag during the national anthem, I'll gladly buy her a ticket to whatever country she wants to relocate to. Good riddence.
