I bought an Epson Perfection 1650 Photo scanner and it came with Photoshop Elements for editing. I am very happy with both products. I think newer versions of both are now available. The thing I liked most about this scanner was the slide and filmstrip adepter that let me scan some of my old slides and make prints. It is not as good as the dedicated slide/film scanners but I felt it does an adequate job. The scanner software gives you great control over what you want to scan. Easy to use for simple tasks like making a copy also.
