As many of you who are on the chips@facevalue list know, Bill O'Day and I spent Monday gathering chips for all those that asked.

Unfortunately, I miscounted the orders and only got a stack of some and 30 of others and to my dismay, I found out I was short of some of the chips. So when we return in a couple of weeks I will get the remaining ones I need.

In any case, I am getting off the subject line.

Passing by the roulette table at the Silver Legacy, Bill asked the pit boss for some roulette chips. As expected, he denied our request but gave us a surprising solution. "Why not play the table and pocket some chips. We are always short stacked and think nothing of it. Many people tip the waitresses with the roulettes" We received a similiar answer in another casino (can't remember which.)

But everyone will be happy to know that we did not take his advice because we know it was not kosher. Actually, we were both scared sh--less and at this stage of life was not about to take chances like this.

Norm, we desperately need you in Reno for a day or two . The Eldorado has great looking sets of roulettes as do quite a few others.
