Well, i was incorrect before when I said NBC...I meant CBS! They filmed thois morning for 1 1/2 hours. It went great. Jerry Anderson was really nice, and actually seemed interested in chips and the whole thing. It will air on this Fridays news at 6:00pm I guess its going to be more then just a few minutes since he liked the whole idea so much. Im not sure how much is going to be me and how much will be Gene Trimble/Simmons. I guess I'll have to wait until Friday.

I've borrowed a digital camcorder and I'll be reading the instruction tonight to see if I can recored directly from the TV or VCR. Cross your fingers.

In a worst case...I can always make an extra copy and then we can send it around kind of like a Round Robin. We can have a sign up list for everybody that wants to see it and then pass it from person to person. If it turns out to be really good, I'll send a copy to the CC&GTCC library.

Besides talking about my collecting and illegal Toledo chips etc, I also got a chance to discuss how my collection was able to significantly grow from 70 chips to almost 2,000 chips because the finding the ChipBoard. I also got to put in a nice plug for the CC&GTCC. Of course I had to talk about the Chipguide.com as well and the map and the pictures of chips etc. Now the test will be what gets cut and what stays and gets aired.

I'm going to try to get a copy of the raw footage too, but i dont know how willing they'll be to do that. But again...if i dont I try then I wont win.
